It looks like Nike has been adding this nice “All Black” color-way to many of their silhouettes. This model comes draped in the all-black look, which i personally like. The shoe comes with matching overlays on the toe and heel, and also includes rope laces.
Nike has announced it is extending the use of its knitted footwear technology to its Roshe Run range of trainers.
The Flyknit textile, which reduces waste by ergonomically weaving the footwear in one piece, has been used to create a collection of one-of-a-kind styles.
Designers at the American firm have taken the environmentally friendly approach even further by using excess yarn left on spools from other Flyknit models Adidas ZX Flux Womensto produce the limited edition release.
The result of randomly combining the 12 available colours of thread means each shoe is unique. According to the brand “each half pair will be distinct from the other”.
Roshe Flyknit Designer Graeme McMillan said: “The knit upper on the Nike Roshe Flyknit is truly one-Nike Air Max 2017 Dames of-a-kind — no two shoes are exactly alike.”
“At its essence, the Nike Roshe was an exercise in reductive design – it’s very minimal in the number of pieces and components compared to traditional sneakers,” he added.
“The efficiency associated with Flyknit tied into the ethos of what the Nike Roshe stands for.”
The lightweight manufacturing technique has previously appeared on the brand’s Air Max and Free models.
The limited edition Nike Roshe Flyknit is scheduled to roll out across select Nike Sportswear retailers and Ralph Lauren Bikini Womens online from 4th October with an additional release taking place on 11th October. Price points are currently unconfirmed.
